Try every LiLi Cal widget before you add it.

Seven Home Screen and desktop widgets, three Lock Screen widgets and a Live Activity, in every size from small to extra large. The previews below aren’t screenshots: they’re laid out live with the same rules as the app, so you can flip months and weeks, pick an hour, and watch countdowns tick. FAQ

I added birthdays in the Calendar app. Why aren’t they in the Days widget?

The Days widget shows LiLi Cal’s Days. Events in your calendars are part of your agenda, so they appear in the Agenda, Week and Calendar widgets. To count down to a birthday in days, add it as a Day in LiLi Cal — lunar birthdays and yearly repeats are supported.

Why don’t I see an event at the end of next month in the Agenda widget?

The Agenda and Calendar widgets list the next 14 days. Events further out show up once they’re within two weeks. To see them earlier, flip ahead in the Week widget, or add the event as a Day.

Why doesn’t LiLi Countdown show my all-day events?

It only includes items with a specific time, so it can count to the second. Use the Agenda or Week widget for all-day events and Days for counting down by the day.

Do the widgets update if I don’t open the app?

Yes. Day counts roll over at midnight on their own, and events and tasks refresh when they start, end or come due. The seconds in a countdown are drawn by the system and don’t use up refreshes.

Can I check off tasks in the widget?

Not yet. Tapping a task opens it in the app, where you can complete it.

Where’s the extra large size?

Extra Large fills a whole iPhone Home Screen page and needs iOS 27 (macOS 27 on Mac). Extra Large Wide is on the iPad Home Screen and the Mac desktop.

Can I hide titles on the Lock Screen?

Yes. In Settings › Face ID & Passcode, turn off Lock Screen Widgets under Allow Access When Locked. The LiLi Countdown title is then redacted until you unlock with Face ID.
