## LiLi Cal

Today’s date and the whole month at a glance.

Small puts today’s date front and center with the weekday beside it. Medium adds what’s up next and your nearest Days. Large is a full month grid. Extra Large pairs the month with your agenda, tasks and Days — or turns into two months side by side. Turn on the Chinese calendar in the app and every cell also shows the lunar date, solar terms, festivals and mainland China’s days off and make-up workdays.

Sizes: iPhone: Small · Medium · Large · Extra Large; iPad: Small · Medium · Large · Extra Large Wide; Mac: Small · Medium · Large · Extra Large · Extra Large Wide

**What it shows**

- Date and weekday
- Lunar dates, solar terms and festivals (optional)
- Days off and make-up workdays (optional)
- Upcoming events and Days (medium and up)

**Try it**

- Use ‹ › in the header to flip months; a Today button appears

## LiLi Week

Seven days in a row — tap one to see it.

The header shows the year, month and week number, with the seven days below. The bottom lists the selected day’s events, tasks and Days in one timeline. Show one week or two, or start the row with today. When there’s room, Extra Large keeps going with your upcoming Days and the next few days’ plans.

Sizes: iPhone: Medium · Large · Extra Large; iPad: Medium · Large · Extra Large Wide; Mac: —

**What it shows**

- One or two weeks of dates
- The selected day’s events → tasks → Days, merged by time
- Overdue tasks in red, a progress line on what’s happening now
- Extra Large: upcoming Days and the days after

**Try it**

- Tap a day to select it and see its plans
- Flip weeks with ‹ ›; tap the title to come back
- Turn all three kinds off to see just two weeks of dates

## LiLi Agenda

Where you need to be next, and when.

Lists the events that haven’t ended in the next two weeks, with whatever’s happening now on top and a progress line that shrinks until it’s over. Grouped by day; Large and Extra Large add end times and locations. Extra Large starts with a seven-day strip with colored dots, so you can spot the busy days.

Sizes: iPhone: Small · Medium · Large · Extra Large; iPad: Small · Medium · Large · Extra Large Wide; Mac: Small · Medium · Large · Extra Large · Extra Large Wide

**What it shows**

- The next 14 days of events, the current one first
- All-day and multi-day events grouped by day
- End times and locations from Large up
- Extra Large: a week strip; the wide size uses two columns

**Try it**

- Pick “In a meeting” to watch the progress line
- Pick “Just installed” to see the empty state
- Tap any row: the app opens that event — for repeating ones, that exact occurrence

## LiLi Tasks

What’s left to do, overdue first.

Reads your Reminders. Overdue tasks come first in red, then tasks by due date, then those without one. A task with a date but no time isn’t overdue until that day is over. Tasks you finished today are crossed out at the end. Extra Large groups by Overdue, Today, Tomorrow and so on; the wide size splits into three columns.

Sizes: iPhone: Small · Medium · Large · Extra Large; iPad: Small · Medium · Large · Extra Large Wide; Mac: Small · Medium · Large · Extra Large · Extra Large Wide

**What it shows**

- The overdue count and today’s date
- Overdue → due soon → no due date
- Tasks completed today (crossed out)
- Extra Large: grouped by day; wide: Overdue / Today / Up Next

**Try it**

- Switch scenes and watch when “Reply to client email” turns red
- Look at the three columns on iPad’s wide size

## LiLi Days

How many days until it’s here.

Days are LiLi Cal’s countdowns and anniversaries: birthdays (including lunar birthdays), anniversaries, exams, expiry dates, a monthly payday or month-end bookkeeping. This widget counts in days — “65 days left”, “Today”, “1483 days” — and adds a progress bar to ranges like a 30-day challenge or how much of the year has passed. Within 24 hours of a timed Day, the number becomes a ticking clock.

Sizes: iPhone: Small · Medium · Large · Extra Large; iPad: Small · Medium · Large · Extra Large Wide; Mac: Small · Medium · Large · Extra Large · Extra Large Wide

**What it shows**

- Pinned Days first, then by how soon
- Countdowns, count-ups and ranges
- Yearly and monthly repeats roll over on their own
- Ticks by the second in the last 24 hours

**Try it**

- Pick “Weekend”: Mom’s birthday becomes “In 2 days”
- Pick “Just installed”: only subscribed holidays remain

## LiLi Countdown

The next thing with a set time, to the second.

Counts down to events, tasks and Days that have a specific time: by the second within a day, “1 day, 17 hr” further out. When an event is under way it counts what’s left and shows how long it’s been going. It only includes items with a set time — for all-day events or date-only tasks, use the Agenda and Tasks widgets. You can pin one item and choose the precision.

Sizes: iPhone: Small · Medium · Large · Extra Large; iPad: Small · Medium · Large · Extra Large Wide; Mac: Small · Medium · Large · Extra Large · Extra Large Wide

**What it shows**

- Timed events, tasks and Days (each optional)
- Seconds within a day, days and hours beyond
- In progress: elapsed and remaining
- Extra Large in a card or list layout

**Try it**

- Pick “Night before a trip”: the flight starts ticking
- Leave only Days on in Edit Widget
- Switch the Extra Large layout to List

## LiLi Almanac

Today’s auspicious activities and the current Chinese hour.

The traditional Chinese almanac, calculated from the Qing-dynasty Xieji Bianfang Shu: lunar date and day pillar, what the day is good and bad for (common ones first), the clash, duty god, day officer, lunar mansion and element, plus all twelve two-hour periods. Small shows today’s activities or the current hour; from Large up, tap any hour to see its own activities, and flip between days. The almanac itself is in Chinese.

Sizes: iPhone: Small · Medium · Large · Extra Large; iPad: Small · Medium · Large · Extra Large Wide; Mac: Small · Medium · Large · Extra Large · Extra Large Wide

**What it shows**

- Lunar date, day pillar, auspicious and inauspicious activities
- Clash, duty god, day officer, mansion, element
- Twelve two-hour periods, the current one outlined
- Extra Large: Peng Zu taboos, lucky directions, fetal god

**Try it**

- Tap one of the twelve hours to see what it’s good for
- Flip days with ‹ ›, then tap Today
- Set the small size to Current Hour in Edit Widget

## Lock Screen widgets: no need to unlock

Three LiLi Cal widgets fit on the iPhone and iPad Lock Screen, each in circular, rectangular and inline (the line above the clock) styles.

- **Day Countdown** — Keeps your pinned or nearest Day in view: the circle shows the number of days, the rectangle adds the title and date, inline reads “Title · days left”.
- **LiLi Countdown** — The same widget as the Home Screen countdown: your next timed item, ticking by the second within a day, with a progress ring around the circle.
- **LiLi Almanac** — The rectangle shows the lunar date, day pillar and one line each of good and bad activities; the circle shows the current hour and whether it’s auspicious.

If you turn off Lock Screen Widgets under Settings › Face ID & Passcode › Allow Access When Locked, the LiLi Countdown title is redacted until you unlock.

## Live Activity: on your Lock Screen until it starts

Open an event, task or Day and choose Count Down on Lock Screen. It shows up on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island: “Starts in” before it begins, “Remaining” once it has, with a progress bar the whole way. Within an hour it appears right away; from iOS 26, ones further out are scheduled to appear an hour before.

Live Activities are iPhone only; the Dynamic Island needs a model that has one.

## Which sizes on which device

The same widget comes in different sizes on each device. Extra Large fills a whole iPhone Home Screen page and needs iOS 27; Extra Large Wide is on the iPad Home Screen and the Mac desktop.

## FAQ

### I added birthdays in the Calendar app. Why aren’t they in the Days widget?

The Days widget shows LiLi Cal’s Days. Events in your calendars are part of your agenda, so they appear in the Agenda, Week and Calendar widgets. To count down to a birthday in days, add it as a Day in LiLi Cal — lunar birthdays and yearly repeats are supported.

### Why don’t I see an event at the end of next month in the Agenda widget?

The Agenda and Calendar widgets list the next 14 days. Events further out show up once they’re within two weeks. To see them earlier, flip ahead in the Week widget, or add the event as a Day.

### Why doesn’t LiLi Countdown show my all-day events?

It only includes items with a specific time, so it can count to the second. Use the Agenda or Week widget for all-day events and Days for counting down by the day.

### Do the widgets update if I don’t open the app?

Yes. Day counts roll over at midnight on their own, and events and tasks refresh when they start, end or come due. The seconds in a countdown are drawn by the system and don’t use up refreshes.

### Can I check off tasks in the widget?

Not yet. Tapping a task opens it in the app, where you can complete it.

### Where’s the extra large size?

Extra Large fills a whole iPhone Home Screen page and needs iOS 27 (macOS 27 on Mac). Extra Large Wide is on the iPad Home Screen and the Mac desktop.

### Can I hide titles on the Lock Screen?

Yes. In Settings › Face ID & Passcode, turn off Lock Screen Widgets under Allow Access When Locked. The LiLi Countdown title is then redacted until you unlock with Face ID.

## Put them on your desktop

LiLi Cal is one app on Mac, iPhone and iPad — download once and use it everywhere. The widgets come with it.

Previews are laid out live with the app’s own layouts and rules using demo data; system fonts, widget frames and Lock Screen tinting are approximations.
